[Academic Results]

  Throughout the course of its long history as a center for 
academic and personal development, Chalmette High School 
has been proud to award diplomas to many graduates who 
have continued to bring credit to their alma mater as well 
as to themselves. Some of these graduates have chosen 
to seek higher education. Some have distinguished 
themselves in their careers. Some have done their former 
teachers the honor of joining the ranks of educators.
The graduates of Chalmette High School who have 
continued their formal education include Bobby Scafidel and 
Eugene Dial who have earned Doctorates in Education. 
Charlie Modenbach has earned a PhD in chemistry and 
Joseph DiGiovanni, Guy McInnis, Carey Turner, Ross Gonzales, 
Y. J. Bourgeois, Robert Critasi and Terry Thonn have 
become CPAs.
   
Chalmette High School is well represented in the legal and 
medical professions. Robert Buckley, Paul Tabary, Walter 
Leger, Dale Massarini have succeeded as lawyers. David 
Gorbaty has distinguished himself as a judge. Michael Ginart 
is currently attending law school. The medical field has been
enhanced by the addition of Mike Girouard, Joaquin Rosales, 
Rusty and Randy Wolfe, Billy Munch, Brian Frichter, Kenny 
Najolia, Jay and Jeff Schwab, Michael Perniciaro, Randy Legraize 
and Michael Harrison. Roy Bassett is currently attending dental 
school.
   
Many of our graduates have become successful businessmen. 
A few include Robert Levis, Ronnie Lamarque, Elvin LeFebvre, 
Jeff Pohlmann, Al Waller, Jr., John Kuchler, Mike Fradella, 
Ray Boasso, Norris Weese and Brian Felger.
   
Some of our graduates have pursued careers in the arts: 
Tommy Oprea, Alan Phillips, Danny Frolich, Steve Serpas. 
Many of our graduates have become successful engineers: 
Keith Picou, Joe Wall, Andrew Mayeux, David Lotz, 
Floyd Fernandez, Michael DeHarde, Kevin Bowen and Stewart 
Serpas. 
Other graduates have excelled in the field of finance: 
Wayne Landry and Danny Bourgeois. 
Jimmy Manzo is a popular disk jockey. 
We count among our distinguished graduates Tim Curtin, 
who was elected mayor of Forest, Ohio.
   
The list of graduates of Chalmette High School who have made 
the most of the education they have received within its hallowed
halls goes on and on. We look forward to a long future of nurturing
our students, preparing them for a life of success and service 
in our community.
